Song: Sinais dos sinos (Bell’s signs)
Composer: Xaxá Portilho

Look when video reachs 2m 23sec…

“The flight of bumble bee” by Rimski-Korsakov influenced my composition, you have to pick 4 notes in each string.

I’d like to explain something about this song.
I create this song thinking in a rhapsody structure, but the song is based with things that in my mind only… not a variation of other songs…

If you don’t know what it is…
Wikipedia:
“A rhapsody in music is a one-movement work that is episodic yet integrated, free-flowing in structure, featuring a range of highly contrasted moods, colour and tonality. An air of spontaneous inspiration and a sense of improvisation make it freer in form than a set of variations.”

I’d like to suggest two famous masterpieces:
Liszt – Hungarian Rhapsody # 2
Rachmaninoff – Rhapsody on a theme of Paganini (i’m sure you know the variation 18… (Movie: Groundhog Day, EUA, 1993 with Bill Murray).
