A glance at the internet is more than enough to show you that there are hundreds if not thousands of websites offering learn-to-play-guitar videos.
Some are free, some have fees. BUT the question is, can they benefit you? Can they really teach you how to play the guitar the RIGHT way?
Here's my answer – a resounding YES! Think about it, these learn to play guitar videos can be paused, rewinded, forwarded, and you can watch the videos over and over again. That's a BIG plus especially for beginners.
Sometimes, going through a lesson once is not enough. Often, you have to go through it twice or even thrice. And if you'd do that with a guitar instructor or teacher, that means paying more, which is not something you want to do especially if you're on a tight budget.
Many of the aspects of good guitar playing like …
– How to position your fingers
– How to hold the guitar correctly
– How to pluck or strum
… can not be described effectively using words in a book. BUT that's where learn to play guitar videos EXCEL. You get to see the maestro, so to speak, do his thing and play a mind-blowing solo while laying down the ins and outs of technique.
Another BIG plus, especially for paid guitar videos, is that they give you a host of material you could use to supplement the videos like …
– Guitar tabs
– Beginner acoustic guitar lessons
– Scales and modes
– Electric guitar lessons
And that's just to name a few.
Seriously, I was kind of skeptical about these learn to play guitar videos in the beginning. I thought there's no better way to learn the guitar than to get an instructor and pay an hourly fee. BUT I was dead wrong!
Soon, I realized that I do not have to burn my pocket by hiring an instructor. And that even with years of guitar playing experience, I was able to expand my skills and advance my guitar playing techniques with the help of tricks and tips I learned through these guitar videos.
